Allurisitaramaraju District of Andhra Pradesh faces floods every year. It is usually the river Godawari that floods and causes havoc. The resilience of the population is immense and the people in regular flooded areas keep themselves ready for such disasters . However, this year, due to heavy rainfall in Maharashtra during unusual timings caused sudden floods in 4 blocks of ASR district namely Chinthur, VR Puram, Yetapakka and Kunavaram.
